Who pays for the WhatsApp messages?
You do, directly to Meta, because messages are sent from your own WhatsApp Business account. Confirmly charges only its monthly fee. Meta's current per-message rates are published on their pricing page.
How much will WhatsApp messages cost me?
Meta charges per message, and the rate depends on the message type. At Meta's current Pakistan rates, an order confirmation or a shipping update (utility messages) costs roughly 1.5 US cents each, so a typical order with a confirmation and a shipping update comes to about 3 cents. Promotional messages such as product alerts and the weekly catalog cost more, roughly 4.7 cents each. These rates are set by Meta and can change, so please check Meta's pricing page for the latest figures. Meta bills you directly and Confirmly adds no markup.
Do I need a WhatsApp Business account?
Yes. We help you connect it during setup. Messages are sent from your own number, under your brand name.
What do customers see?
A short WhatsApp message with your order number, items and total, and two buttons: Confirm and Cancel.
Where is customer data stored?
We store only what is needed to send and track the messages: order number, customer first name, phone number and message status. You can read the details in our Privacy Policy. Customer data is deleted when a store requests it or uninstalls the app.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. Uninstall the app from your Shopify admin and billing stops.
